This Friday, Oct. 12, at the Transfer, Lucky Pierre resident DJ6 and frequent Shadowplay guest DJ Candy start their new night at the Transfer, Bender. They'll be spinning indie/electro/new wave. Opening night guest DJ is DJ Donimo (Lucky Pierre, Heat, Shadowplay, Substance). There's no cover, so there's no excuse not to drop by the Transfer, at Church and Market Sts, this Friday.

DJ6 has put together an indie/electro mix mp3 for you to download free. The mix mp3 includes DJ6's brand new remix of Dragonette's "The Boys." Check out the Bender blog at myspace.com/clubbender for a link to the download and for the tracklist.

Friday, October 19 is the opening party for Club Heat, an indie disco. Heat is a confluence of music, art, fashion, drag, and flesh. Heat features Lucky Pierre's DJ Donimo and DJ6 spinning the hottest indie electro, including original remixes. Heat is hosted by Artemis Chase, the strip poker dealer at Lucky Pierre. Hot go go dancers. Visual projections and installations by Ben. Art direction by Twig and Candy. For opening night, Heat's artists will turn the Stud into Warhol's Factory! Cover is just $5.
